ROCK BOX

Post by Sunburst »

All,

I've had nothing new Rockman-related to brag about for the past week or so... so here goes:

I acquired a rare (and 100% complete!) ROCK BOX on eBay last week for $225! Has a little play wear but cleaned up nicely. As a bonus, the X100 that came with it is in excellent condition!

I tested it and all functions work and it sounds awesome! No clipping from my Les Paul Standard. Good balance between the channels. Really cool to be able to switch between all of the X100 channels via foot switch. And the ability to switch the ECHO and CHORUS on or off separately via foot switch (including both off - although why would you ever want to do that?) is spectacular!

So a big thumb's up from me on the ROCK BOX!!!

;)

Very respectfully,

Sunburst

AWESOME!
I've seen these for awhile, but people always want 600-800 bucks for them.
Awesome to see you got one with the X100 for only 225!

For recording... record dry and add effects during mixdown.

Isaac,

That's what I would ask for it, as well!

And Bob,

I knew that - just expressing my blind devotion to the X100!!!

Now that is a rare find indeed! How much is the X100 modified to make it work with the pedal board? Any photos of the insides?
