Rich Bischoff published an excellent video showing off his X100. Between his video and the RJ Ronquillo Rockman videos, it seems like the 80s sound is cool again, and apparently the Rockman X100 is the box of choice to provide it:

I wonder how long Jim Dunlop can ignore $600+ X100s? It seems like a market is building for new Rockman gear.

Definitely agree. They are probably worried about how if they release one thing, everyone will want everything else.

I imagine an X100 re-release could be kind of like the announcement of the Lexus IS500. The internet comment sections will be full of praise but actual sales will be next to nothing.

I’m hoping it doesn’t end up that way for either the IS500 or a future X100 re-release.
