Well the good news is, that these headphone amps really aren't that hard to fix. (As long as the circuit board isn't cracked)

It was good enough for Tom to use on Third Stage...eicca wrote:I may go for the IIB then, if anyone can input on how it sounds compared to the X100...
Old post I know but I was wondering if you would let me know what the part numbers are for each of those caps so I can replace them on my X100. I just got one and want to get it back to 100%. I ran across this thread and that would be a great help.X100Ver10 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 3:59 am
Buy the X100. If you don't, give me his number. :D The electrolytic capacitors are peanuts. With shipping, the 11 capacitors might cost you $10. Probably less. Let me know if you need part numbers for each capacitor that I use in them.
BTW - that Soloist is probably mine, if you saw it on eBay. That should tell you something if I am recommending buying the X100 instead of the Soloist. There is nothing wrong with the Soloist, however, BUY the X100. That is a great deal.
Works great, been using it for a while now! I did end up sending it off for a refurb back in 2018—my input jack came loose from the circuit board. I decided to pay a pro to do it after attempting to replace the toggle switch in my guitar and burned a bunch of holes in the guitar and ruined the switch. Turns out I don’t actually remember how to solder.Cosmicboyee wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 4:10 amOld post I know but I was wondering if you would let me know what the part numbers are for each of those caps so I can replace them on my X100. Also, wondering how the original poster made out with that X100. How did it go?
