Rockman sustainor 200

Hi I have recently had my sustainor 200 refurbished plus had the double IC mod done.
On the distortion channel every note I hit the clip light goes on,however it does not affect my tone any.Anyone have an idea on why the sustainor is clipping so much?

I have used my Dad's 200, and, whenever you hit a string hard, it will always clip that way.
