As the last of the Rockmans to be shipping, I've been kind of thinking about what would make the Ace family better. I thought I'd solicit opinions about that. I guess for me, I'd suggest focusing on three areas. Make them quieter. Ship them with better headphones and do something about the battery hatch. I think those things would make a big difference.
Something that goes a little further is to merge the Guitar Ace with the Metal Ace, adding a voicing switch (to the side?) to select between "normal" and "metal".
Let me know what you think.

Quieter is always better. I might go with a rechargeable battery.

The Smartphone generation has really become accustomed to rechargeable gadgets. I think it would broaden the appeal of the line to provide some kind of recharging capability.

Re: Updating the Ace Family
With the disappearance of the Ace Family from the Dunlop web site, I thought I'd bring this thread to life. Maybe we'll see the Ace family again.
On the other hand, an X100, with USB audio out and USB recharging added would be awesome too.

Aww man!
An X100 with those would be sick!
In a dream world, the X100 should also have some sort of EQing sliders/knobs, whether it be on the side or back.

Push button on/off (instead of a switch) for the chorus and reverb... and add a stereo delay.
Also, old car radio style push button selectors for clean~distortion settings... you know, where when you push a button, the button goes in and the other buttons pop out.
Or, offer a footpedal to switch options.

Well, maybe if we come up some good ideas, they'll get noticed.

Just saw a used Rockman Bass Ace in a local Sam Ash used display case.
They wanted 99 dollars for it!
