Rockman SD 12 CEM-500 MIDI Programmable Stereo Half Stack

Post by Sunburst »

Um... here's what I picked up in Boston this past weekend:

Top of the line SD 12 CEM-500 MIDI Programmable Stereo Head and cabinet! Factory wired:

And it gets better...

One owner, never gigged, sat in an apartment for the past 25 plus years! Absolute museum piece - I am confident that this is the nicest SR&D stage head and cabinet in existence! Also came with the impossible to find Rockman Modular Amplifier Preliminary Operating Manual as well as pristine manuals for each module!

And it gets even better...

It also came with a MINT IN BOX X100!!!

And this one was sitting right under the Master's nose in Boston!!!

You know... I'm a big Boston fan... but every time I find one of these treasures I channel my inner Britney Spears:

"OOPS! I DID IT AGAIN!"

Hi JK!

I am going to have to think about that. It's as good as it gets, wasn't free, plus I had to drive all the way up to Boston to get it. I'm actually inclined to keep it unless I get an offer I can't refuse. So make an offer - you have nothing to lose. Thanks for your interest!

Very respectfully,

Bob,

After going to pick this thing up in Boston, lugging it down four flights of stairs, driving it back to Maryland, and then lugging it down into my basement... I'm actually thinking about getting one of those portable, light weight Bose systems for it!

;)

Very respectfully,

LOL!!!

I did one better... I bought a Kemper rack unit and profiled my Rev 20 with Tom's studio EQ settings. Same great tone with no noise and a ton of flexibility.... and it's light too!!

Smart... very smart!

Like most of us middle-aged Rockman collectors, I started collecting to buy all the cool Rockman gear I couldn't afford back when I was in high school or college! It's an addiction - but I'm close to having a complete collection and I'm sure my collection is one of the nicest out there. Plus I've helped a lot of people put together their collections!

Rockman on!!!
