My Palmer based rig is finally getting some work put into it.

Here's another cute thing I found:

The Donner Alpha Cruncher really offers a lot for a little bit of money. The only basic it's missing is a compressor. Just add a DI and off you go.

The latest piece of the pedal rig came in:

I decided on the MXR Super Comp as the compressor for this rig.

The pedal pile is growing deeper:

An overdrive and Phaser have been added. Just a couple more pedals and I'll be done collecting pedals. Then it will be time to build a pedal board to hold it all.

I'm working on another DI option. Some of the smaller boards have special settings to deal with electric guitar impedance and EQ. It allows you to skip over using a cabinet/amp simulation to some degree:

You just run your stomp box's before the board. I just set this up today. I should be back in the recording business soon. Hopefully I'll spend more time playing than posting.

I've come a little further on this little project for my Telecaster knockoff (Peavey Riptide). I picked up a JDX Direct-Drive, along with some other items. I have a "board" now, albeit being made of scrap wood with Velcro applied. It's setup to run stereo balanced outputs to the board. The JDX Direct-Drive also provides a way to tap off the signal via XLR before it goes off to the modulation effects.

Here's the latest iteration. I've added a loop selector:
