Hi everyone!
I have been trying to build up a decent rig of Modules over the past couple of years and I just had to wait until prices are Sky High š. My collection so far:
1) Sustainor 100a (May sell if no need for it)
2) Sustainor 200 DIC
3) Distortion Gen
4) Stereo Chorus/Delay (s/n CD00917 early 86)
5) Stereo Echo
6) Stereo Compressor (for JCM800 rig) or
if needed in the Module rig.
7) Boss GE-21 1/2 rack EQ (this is the only EQ w/
the same bands as the EQ module)
My questions (I saw somewhere on an earlier post that the early SC/E modules had impedance issues (<CD04000). Mine is CD00918 very early. Would a newer Stereo Echo frol
1988 or newer have less ānoiseā or just be a better fit with the newer Sustainor 200? I donāt really care about Sweep Stop or having Long Chorus foot switchable. Just want the quietest rig possible and one with the least possibility of issues. And has anyone seen or heard or the Boss GE-21? It should be close line level being a rack EQ and I donāt know how it happened but having identical slider bands as the Rock Module (they can be had for $150 or less!!)
Iām new to the community and hope to participate more in the future as I get my gear up and running. Have a Fryette PS-2 power station and some Heritage Greenbacks (not the best speakers for a RM system. Thanks Everyone!

Re: Old Stereo Chorus/Delay vs Newer Stereo Chorus
Looks like the board is dying. No response so I went ahead and tried to do as much research as possible. Canāt find anything else out on the impedance issues of the early CD<4000. As far as replacing my CD with a SC, stopping the sweep speed would essentially turn the SC into the CD in Delay Mode. Adjust Time all the way down to 20 or 40. Feedback at min and mix maxed. This should be close to the SC with no modulation. I donāt need switchable Short/Long chorus mid-song (or at least I donāt think I would unless maybe Long sounds best for solos and Short for Cleans (etc.) Maybe that would make the switching desirable. Otherwise, I donāt see the justification for buying a $500-$800 module for switchable Long C (?) š§
I want the best RM rig possible. Found a RM EQ today and couldnāt turn down the price. Sold the Fryette PS-2 today as well, but bought (2) Line 6 Powercab112s for stereo operation of the rig. Now, need a couple of MXR Smart Gates (donāt want to take up a rack space).

It's been pretty quiet. I tried to open up user sign-ups, but just picked up a bunch of spammers. I'm still cleaning up that mess. I hope you can bring some friends to the party. TIA.
