I have two compressors (very late export models - 2455 and 2639) with the later one having the 30 gain reduction red LED signifying power on.
This glows brighter when triggered. I'm presuming this could be a design enhancement as the earlier doesn't show power on status.
Do the US models have power on status ?
Compressor difference?

I have GC001866 (Jan 1990). The 30 gain reduction red LED stays on all the time, getting brighter when the gain reduction reaches 30.lento wrote:I have two compressors (very late export models - 2455 and 2639) with the later one having the 30 gain reduction red LED signifying power on.

Re: Compressor difference?
It would seem that my earlier one is unusual then. The red LED lights as expected when triggered - just doesn't show power on status.

Looking into the official word on this, the manual makes no mention of a power indicator one way or the other.

Being at least 20 years old, it likely could be a fluctuation in the electronics.
