Gee, I wonder if new X100's would be a profitable product for Jim Dunlop?

Well, they did do a full redesign and update of the X100 years ago but they determined the cost point was too high for the demand.

I was talking with Bob Cedro a couple weeks ago and asked him about the prospect of reissuing the Sustainor or XPR.
He said you never know what the future will bring, but for now, he didn't see it for several reasons.... there are some components that they just can't get anymore, and also that the cost of producing those units, even back then, was very high, so there wasn't much profit on them.

I'm kind of guessing, but I think the marketplace might go for a modern redesign as long as the feature set and quality were right. I love my little Dunlop Ace amps but it would be nice to have the Rockman chorus/echo added back into the Dunlop headphone amps. Maybe a hybrid of the X100 and Soloist. Keep the CLN2 voice from the X100, but also have the Soloist "mono" setting.

No, not mine. I only buy Rockman gear. I don't tend to let it go once I have it ;)

I'm curious as to which components are no longer available. Bob - can you provide us with a list?

LOL! I have the same problem with "sticky" Rockman modules!

I'm not really sure and he didn't elaborate. I haven't checked, but it could be the CLM50 used for the auto clean.
