X100 vs Nobels SST-1 Sound Studio

Got my hands on one of these interesting Rockman ripoffs, so I thought I'd do a little shootout with it.

This was a great video demonstrating the similarities and differences.
It never fails to surprise me how great the X100 sounds when I hear it in the hands of someone who knows how to use it.
Such a great tone, no wonder it found it's way into nearly every major studio and cameos in so much music!

Thanks for posting! I have an SST-1X and it does sound really great. Of course according to Nobels it was SR&D who knocked off the SST-1 and SST-19!

LOL! Despite the fact that SR&D had their products out YEARS before the Nobels...Rockmans are still for sale and Nobles are not. :)
