Chorus/Delay parts

Post by dreamevil »

Hi everyone. The next refurb will be the Rockman Chorus/Delay. Can anyone knows the exact caps of the Chorus/Delay unit?
Thanks.

The other blue caps are 35V 10uf right ?

I'll change all the caps with audio grade high quality ones. Does it matter putting audio grade caps on the 25V 1000uf'?

Yes, those other 9 are 10uf. I replace them with audio grade 10uf 50V but 35V is usually what is in there and will work fine. I just stopped buying 10uf 35v because other later models have some 50v and I didn't see a need to have both. The price difference was minimal too.

I don't use the audio grade for the power 1000uf 25v caps. I doubt audio grade would make any difference for those 2 caps.

You're the best. Did you change the 35v with 50v on your sustainor (100 or 200 don't know) too?

Any Rockman gear I refurbish now gets a 10uf 50v regardless if it had a 10uf 16v, 10uf 35v, or a 10uf 50v. I ran out of 10uf 35v caps awhile ago and have bought 10uf 50v ever since. As long as you go with a higher voltage than what was in there, you should be fine. Just make sure you stay with the same uf.
